KATHRYN SNYDER PARTNER

Katie is passionate about building effective teams and helping individuals become empowered, high-functioning leaders. For more than 20 years, she has worked with boards, leadership, and staff to develop strategic plans, to assess programs, and to implement initiatives. Katie has collaborated with numerous nonprofits, foundations and companies to create greater social impact. She has a knack for building consensus, facilitating innovative thinking, and for difficult conversations. Katie feels great purpose in coaching leaders to reach their performance potential and in creating workshops to improve teams’ productivity. Katie’s broad experience as a trained attorney, business development professional, and non-profit leader have given her practice with diverse teams and people, and she has an acute ability to observe and give specific feedback for action. Katie serves as a Fellow Coach for BetterUp®, a global coaching platform. She is also a Senior Staff Member for Outward Bound Professional® helping individuals challenge themselves and building teams through experiences.

Katie lives in Virginia with her trusty rescue lab, Sugar Magnolia (“Mags”) and they can regularly be seen hiking Shenandoah National Park.

Chris founded True Change Associates in 2015 after 20 years of working with academic institutions, corporations, and nonprofit organizations focusing on diversity and inclusion, equity and social justice, leadership development, and team building.
